Pump Pit Failure

Recently, a team of our most experienced engineers, together with our Pump Specialist team, responded to a report of a pump pit failure that had caused flooding at a customer’s site.
Thanks to their expertise, the team quickly pinpointed the problem areas. Using specialist equipment and a great deal of perseverance, they successfully cleared the blockage and removed a significant build-up of fat, allowing the pumps to resume full operation.
During the process, a secondary issue was discovered further along the drain line, extensive damage to the pipework. This was swiftly removed, and a CCTV survey confirmed the broken sections.
Permanent remedial works are now being planned to fully resolve the issue.
Our engineers arrived promptly and worked tirelessly throughout the day and well into the night to resolve the issue and restore functionality in the short term.
